Just Mercy Screening with LaSalle Street Church
Just Mercy is a film adaptation of Bryan Stevenson's memoir by the same name which tells the true story of Walter McMillian, a Black man wrongly convicted of murder and sentenced to death. McMillian's appeal is taken up by young lawyer Bryan Stevenson, who fights for McMillian's clear innocence to be recognized by the opaque and implacable justice system. Join us to watch this film at the Arclight Cinema very close to our church building! The screening is next Sunday, January 26, after our second service concludes (the exact time will be confirmed soon).
